Baker Steel Detailing has been awarded the detailing work for the latest renovation project at MIT’s campus located in Cambridge, MA.

The scope of work includes shop drawings for a complex tubing grid attached to the existing building. The new tubing will support masonry designed to match the appearance of adjacent buildings.

Extensive field coordination will be required at the face of the building.  Work is in progress and preliminary drawings have been submitted for approval.

Watertown Ironworks is the fabricator on this project.
